Max rose to sudden stardom during the hurricane Elene coverage in September 2024. He single-handedly, like a maestro, provided unparalleled live coverage for nearly 100 hours over a few days. His podcasts were life saving to thousands and he was still a Junior in college. He rose form 50,000 followers to 1 million in months and currently he is at 1.75 million. He graduated as a meteorologist this past year and has 20 people working in his severe weather center. His specialty is tornadoes so for this particular storm, he is in the wheelhouse! He blends coverage from local cameras, storm chasers, staff and friends with a fabulous sense of humor. Viewers can also post videos (keep your camera horizontal for taking videos), photos and other items that he may incorporate into his live stream. MOST IMPORTANTLY Max will call out people and towns in the immediate path of a tornado telling them to RUN to a safe space or simply get ready to go to a safe space if necessary. He has altered the way storm coverage can happen. He plans to start coverage at 8am today! The severe winds may arrive around noon for Warrenton. Take in anything in your yard that can be blown around, fill your gas tank and get some water bottles filled. Then be prepared to watch Max on YouTube. Have a way to charge your phone.
